About Proud Peony

In early 2020, founder, Beth Marr, began building a business designed around events in which she would offer floral design and curated cocktails - an idea that came to her after a long career in marketing spirits, wine and beer and having attended too many parties with lackluster florals and ho-hum drink selections.

As the pandemic hit, her focus shifted to doorstep floral deliveries and the occasional premium batched cocktail alongside. This creative endeavor has fueled her passion and filled her calendar ever since. The Proud Peony serves the Palos Verdes peninsula and surrounding area with unique floral designs delivered promptly to send love for any special occasion, or for no occasion at all.

Growing up, Beth's mom never missed a moment to teach her about the beauty in life. She loved flowers, always telling her the names of each, how different colored roses offered such drastically different delicious scents, how a snapdragon “snapped” if you pinched the bloom in just the right way, and of course, all about getting a daily glimpse the vibrant blues and purples of the morning glory, our shared birthday flower.
